6TH NATIONAL CHIHUAHUA CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW

TO BE HELD ON

TUESDAY 7 AND WEDNESDAY 8 OCTOBER 2008

IN THE UNDERCOVER PAVILION,

CANINE ASSOCIATION GROUNDS,

RANFORD ROAD, GOSNELLS, W.A.

The 2008 Perth Royal Show is scheduled from Saturday 27 September to Saturday 4 October at the Royal Showgrounds, Claremont.  The WA Chihuahua Club Inc. has requested that Toys be judged on Thursday 2 October;  this has not yet been confirmed.

The WA Toy Dog Specialty Club Inc. would usually conduct a championship show on Sunday 5 October.

Some agricultural shows which include a dog section are conducted in the southwest commencing 18 October;  however, details of these are not yet available.

‘Dog friendly’ accommodation (at the time of writing!)

Please note that September/October is the wildflower/tourist season in WA and accommodation is usually at a premium.

Of those shown below, Canning Vale, Kelmscott, Lynwood and Welshpool (in about that order) are the suburbs in closest proximity to the Canine Grounds.  Orange Grove, Lesmurdie, Guildford, Hazelmere and Rockingham are slightly further afield, about thirty minutes away.  Road systems provide easy access.   www.whereis.com.au is useful with maps and directions.
