The Professional Association of Parents and Teachers of the Gifted is an open association for people who are interested in the effective education of gifted and talented children.
Membership is open to individuals (parents and teachers) as well as institutions (groups from schools, colleges, universities, etc).
ProAPT is an affiliate member of the Australian Association for the Education of the Gifted and Talented Ltd. (AAEGT)
Mission Statement / Objectives
The ProAPT Network aims to:
- Provide a professional and collegial support network for those interested in the education of gifted and talented students.
- Develop and coordinate professional development opportunities for members.
- Encourage quality provision for gifted and talented students.
