CHERYL EDWARDES PERPETUAL TROPHY
This award is presented to the athlete, male or female, in the Under 11 - 15 age group, who achieves the best performance at the State Track & Field Championships. In the event of a tie the athletes will share the award.
Performance is calculated by allocating 3 points for a gold medal, 2 points for silver, 1 point for bronze and 2 points for a state record (new or equal).
In addition to a perpetual trophy, a plaque bearing the Kingsway Centre logo will be presented to each winner. The plaque shall be engraved CHERYL EDWARDES PERPETUAL TROPHY, ‘NAME’, and 'YEAR'.
The trophy and replica will be presented to the winner on the first day of competition each year.
